My name is Maria Dzreeva. I was born in Russia and moved to Santa Barbara, California in 2011. I began my adventure in the world of patchwork and quilting in 1995 when I was a student and become a professional quilter in the 2000s. A few years ago after taking a few drawing and painting classes, watercolor become my new passion. Then I found my own way to combine painting, sewing and quilting skills together to create textile arts in a new way. I am very excited to share my textile art with you on this website.
