This thread painting I made as a gift for my friend who lives in Seattle.

 
 

I was inspired by Antelope Valley Poppy Preserve, CA. There was a super bloom in spring 2019, so all the valley and hills were orange with splashes of yellow and purple. That was very fascinating for me, because I’ve never seen something like this before.
